Our team of coaches has a long history of grooming young talents in South Africa. We’ve been part of their success in both the national and international front and what’s more, is that we are committed to not only educate our learners in chess but also support their emotional and academic growth. We know that every player is different, which is why we take care to pair the right player with the right coach. We offer group and individual classes, making sure to accommodate players at all levels.

Mr Kalunga Gondwe -National Instructor (FIDE)
Mr Kalunga is certified National Instructor (FIDE) who is an avid chess lover and enthusiast who is deeply passionate about the growth of an active chess culture in a diverse South Africa. He brings a patient, motivating dimension to coaching while striving to harness the individual’s potential. Enjoyment of the game and the chess experience is fundamental in his approach to the holistic development of the player.
